Synthetic Graphite is different from natural graphite such as Flake Graphite and Amorphous Graphite, and as the name suggests, it refers to artificially produced graphite. It is a substance which graphitized residue of the dry distillation of coal / petroleum called coke by ultra-high temperature treatment (over 3,000°C).
Compared to natural graphite, it has hardness and a small amount of impurities, so it is often used as a carbonizing material for automobile brake materials and steel auxiliary materials.
